Bailey was quite a trooper this morning. After three or four ear infections over the last 6 weeks, we took her in to have tubes put in her ears. Other than having to wake up at 4:30 in the morning to arrive at the hospital at 5:30 for a 7:30 surgery!? and not being able to eat anything, she did great. She's a little cranky today and is way off her schedule but that's all to be expected. She tried her best to stay happy at the hospital but making an 8 month old wait in a tiny waiting room on an empty stomach is enough to upset anybody! She looked so cute in her little hospital gown and she enjoyed playing with the teddy bear that they gave her. Mom sat IN THE CRIB with her and read her stories to try to keep her occupied. It worked (for the most part)! Here's our little trooper getting ready for her procedure:
